Hello,

For controlling the Fuling DZB200M through MODBUS protocol you need a serial RS485 adapter.
Many cheap adapters can be found on ebay. There are different models. You can use an RS232/RS485 adapter or an USB/RS485 adapter

I'm using an adapter like this:

If you have a simple RS232/RS485 adapter you just have to plug it in the serial port of your computer.
Now, connect 2 wires between the RS485 adapter to the DZB200M

...

Once the VFD is connected to the RS485 adapter you have to set it to accept commands from serial interface.
Regarding the VFD's manual, the following registry entries have to be modified:

The function code F0.01 have to be modified from "0" to "2". This mean the source for commands like CW RUN, CCW RUN, STOP will be sent through the RS485 serial line.

The second modification is for the frequency command. We have to pass this function to the MODBUS, too.
So, the F0.03 value have to be "6".

Mach3 config

the Brains: I'm using two brains for controlling the VFD.
First brain is for sending commands like FWD RUN, REV RUN and STOP
The second brain is used for setting the spindle speed (frequency)

Download both brains and put them in "C:\Mach3\Brains" folder
